Exploration of the Self
Yoga Teacher Training

A 200hr YTT put together to inspire the yogi to begin the exploration of the self, to shine the light of compassion within & to create space in the restless mind of the seeking yogi & to cultivate the ability to hold safe and sacred space for others from the dwelling place of their own uniqueness.

The 4 Main Components of the Training

Practice

Each morning students will be lead through a full 2hr practice incorporating Sankalpa, Pranayama, Meditation, Mantra, Mudras & Bandhas. An opportunity for students to expand and enhance their own practice whilst observing teaching techniques and skills modelled by experienced teachers.

Workshop

Students break in to small groups to break down the details work together through, discussion, journaling, sharing of experience & come back together collectively to share the experiences from each group.

Lectures

Delivered by lead trainer Faye Shekhar also specialist experts leading engaging presentations on specific texts, techniques and practices with a space for Q&A to ensure a firm understanding.

Teaching

Throughout the training students will be required to teach individual poses or small Vinyasa kramas to one another and on the last week will be required to teach a 20 min part of a class for assessment purposes.
