Grounded Yoga for a Life in Balance

Our bodies echo emotions, from subtle aches to profound realisations. Beyond just poses, yoga unveils the mind-body connection. Whether for fitness or self-discovery, welcome to yoga’s transformative journey.

Dark & Light

To feel at home is to belong both in our small intimate housings as well as belonging collectively to the world outside of ourselves and this for me is what yoga is all about.

Along the way predominantly through my greatest teachers Paul Muller Ortega & Christopher Wallis I have learnt that honouring both darkness and light is the key to leading a fulfilled life. Through our own periods of darkness with awareness we become initiated into a more inclusive conversation between our singular lives & the soul of the universe.

This is the root of non-dual shaiva tantra that one thing alone exists: the divine, in various permutations. Shiva is primarily understood as the pure consciousness that is the ultimate ground of being and Shakti as the flowing energy making up the entire universe.

Society has us run a million miles from our brokenness when in actual fact our broken hearts are a valid part of the cycle of life and have the potential to open us to a wider sense of identity, one that is capable of seeing through the divide of individual self with the world and indeed the entire universe.

Yoga translates as to yoke, to bind or to unite and is the primary goal of our yoga practice, to understand that there is no separate self abandoned in the cosmos, instead there’s a knowing that we are participants in the great ‘fabric of life ‘dance’, a tapestry of connections with a continuous exchange of all that is seen, heard, felt and experienced and that I beleive is to be honoured in it’s totality

“Life is amazing. And then it’s awful. And then it’s amazing again. And in between the amazing and awful it’s ordinary and mundane and routine. Breathe in the amazing, hold on through the awful, and relax and exhale during the ordinary. That’s just living heartbreaking, soul-healing, amazing, awful, ordinary life. And it’s breathtakingly beautiful.” ~ L.R.Knost

Mentorship & Teacher Training

Hey There!

How are you doing?

We’re living through a period of great change that can seem both frightening & liberating in the same breath.

What I’ve come to realise over the many years of teaching yoga is that society has culturally ingrained is us that truth is somehow absent from us and is something that needs to be found, whether we are religious or not, when in-fact seeking, denies us access to our own force & to our innate intelligence.

True yoga begins when we relinquish all previous habits of seeking for what we are not & instead fall in love with that which we already are, divinity in form, here for a transient moment to experience & to leave our unique imprint whatever we believe in our heart that to be.

When that becomes so, we understand that we are all one and the same and therefore Satsang (sacred gathering) becomes of great importance.

Many of us have come to a place where we’re asking big questions about who we are, what we are doing, how we can become part of the global wake up & what is truly important for both ourselves & the collective

Although possibly still unknown, some are feeling ready to start putting new ways of living and being in to action & I firmly believe great change will come when there is openess, honesty authenticity and integrity within the community.

Discover more about Faye’s extensive and enriching experiences in the realm of yoga, showcasing her unwavering dedication to both teaching and personal growth.

Finding Faye has truly changed my yoga practice and my life. Not only is she the loveliest human, who makes you feel safe and cared for in everything she does, but she also creates and teaches all her offerings with such dedication, creativity and deep understanding. Her classes go way beyond the asana and beautifully weave in breathwork, music, mantra and meditation, teachings and thoughts around the ancient texts. Faye’s style is so non-judgmental and loving that you feel you can safely explore all elements of yoga. And when I leave class, I always feel uplifted and able to take these teachings off the mat and into everyday life. Over the last few years I have joined Faye for a lot of different offerings: Her weekly Jivamukti classes, which taught me so much about a regular yoga practice, the themed online courses, including a very transformative 40 day meditation course, the deep-dive workshops, joyous kirtans and the most amazing teacher training. Whatever Faye touches, she expertly crafts it from a wealth of experience and absolute devotion. I feel so very blessed to have met Faye and I hope many others will too!

She makes this wisdom accessible and relevant in today’s world whilst imbuing it with experience and authenticity. I could sit and listen to her for hours – and have done 🙂 Each class, teacher training, retreat, kirtan and online course has really opened my body, spirit and heart. Faye has had a huge impact on helping me find that which lights me up. I am beyond grateful our paths have crossed.
